Think some of my thoughts here are coming together. The goal in the end is to try and stay primarily within my comfort zone (MD/structure prediction/docking) but try to do things on EC2 (build AMI's, try to scale stuff out, etc). Essentially want to keep up to date with the latest tools and science as best as possible without overreaching.
Do want to write some scientific code, which might have more informatics in there, and a good excuse to work in the Ruby/Rails space. The wet dream is to write MD or some other massively distributed code in something like Erlang
