A Twitter Return

I suppose I should say “X”, but I still can't get myself to call it that. Just feels wrong.

I returned to Twitter partly because of work. I work in AI and AI coding, and that's where a lot of the discussion happens so it was important to be part of it. I must admit I still hate the "for you" feed. You can tell it finds a topic and doubles down on it, whether you like it or not, and then you have to sort of make it go in a different direction. It’s tough not to believe that there’s always an agentda.

I find myself tweeting about things other than just work and AI, because I won't be able to keep my sanity otherwise on Twitter. Second, the AI world is such an echo chamber. I don't wanna join that echo chamber, at least not more than I need to, so I increasingly find myself posting photographs, talking about football (soccer), photography, and other things that I am interested in beyond just what I do in the day job. Is it the right strategy? I don't care. It's my Twitter. I think that's the important part.

I work in tech. I love taking pictures, making videos, watching wildlife (especially birds), tinkering with synthesizers, recording music, and being a (soccer) dad.
