When magic happens
I had always assumed that the Northern Lights were something that required a trip to Alaska or Norway. Over recent years, there has been a glimmer of hope that one could get a sight of the Aurora Borealis from places not too far away from Seattle. What I never imagined was that I could get on my balcony in the middle of Seattle, with all the limits of big city pollution, and see an Aurora with my naked eye and get some great pictures with my camera. Well it happened on May 10. Starting around 11pm till a little past midnight I sat outside and just marveled at the beautiful sight in the heavens. The rest of the family also got to join in the fun. Here are some pictures from that wonderful night.
