I was not into landscapes in my early photography days. There are so many landscape and portrait photographers out there. But as time has gone on, I have come to appreciate landscape photography and some of the techniques involved. It’s still not my forte, but as I go out to find birds or explore the world, there are always plenty of opportunities and when I see the beauty around me, I feel the need to capture it. Banff is one of the most beautiful places I've visited.
Port Angeles has been our stepping stone for Olympic National Park. That area has stunning seascapes and spectacular landscapes.
The Methow Valley, with its mountains and lakes is another place I highly recommend visiting for natural beauty.
I have become fascinated by trees and woodlands. An area I want to explore further in coming years.
