When Nature Beckons
I have been birding since I was a young boy. On Match 24, 2012 we went to watch Snow Owls that had come all the way down south to Ocean Shores, WA. It was the first time I took a trip to take pictures of birds, and that started a love for being out there taking pictures of wildlife and nature that has only increased over time.

The trip that started it all.
In 2020, we traveled to Monteverde, Costa Rica for a birding trip. Part of me wishes I had the gear and skill I have now. That just means we have to go back.
Discovery Park is my favorite birding spot in Seattle. Songbirds, raptors, seabirds, great views, you get it all.
Union Bay Natural Area in Seattle is one of my favorite places for birding. Never disappoints.
Wylie Slough is probably my favorite place to go birding in Western Washington. About an hour from Seattle, it's compact and chock full of birds.
